I have heard that concrete countertops stain; is this true?

Concrete countertops actually behave similar to granite in regards to staining.  Granite countertops are also porous and have be sealed and maintained.  Most people don’t realized this about granite countertops because they are usually to dark and patterned to show stains.  Sealing your countertops is like waxing your car.  If you follow a few simple maintenance steps your concrete will stay in great shape.

In the past some concrete fabricators would skip a step and not seal the concrete, they would slapped on some wax to make the product “look good” and then tell the clients it's just how concrete is.  It is important to work with a Concrete Craftsman who understands concrete and values the quality of his.  Each piece is a piece of art display and tells a story about the craftsman.  Today there are tons of sealers which provide good stain protection.  At MAC our priority is Quality not Quantity.  Our process and concern for customer’s expectation is continually evolving.  Our number one priority is to present the best possible experience and craftsmanship possible.  Our goal is not to stay stagnate but too continual improve and prioritize the customer experience, expectation, and ultimately putting out the best products.  All our products are properly sealed and protector prior to being delivered.
